My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to the Righteous Gemstones. Mom is Lindy. She and her 6 pups were living on their own in the country and a nice lady was trying so hard to find help for this family. Sadly one pup did not survive but we were notified just in time to save mom and 6 pups. Lindy is only 42 pounds and looks to be a Kelpie. That’s a herding breed…and a perfect medium size.
Mom is very laid back and she and her pups are enjoying the lifestyle they have come into. They have comfy beds, blankets, a couch, ac and all the food, water, vetting and love they needed to help them survive.
We estimate the puppies were born in late March so that means if all goes as planned they will be fully vetted and ready for their forever homes the last weekend in May. What a perfect time to bring a pup home.

Additional adoption info

We process applications by speaking with your vet if you have a pet or have had one in the last few years. We also speak to at least 2 references who are not related to you. Once you are approved to adopt then we also make sure to match you with the perfect pet so everyone lives happily ever after.

More about this rescue

Funny Farm Rescue Ranch is a 501c3 all volunteer rescue in TN. We rescue pets from all types of situations. Then we rehabilitate them and fully vet them and get them ready to go to their forever homes. We also educate the public about the importance of spay/neuter because of our huge pet overpopulation problem and the high number of healthy, adoptable pets having to be euthanized on a daily basis because there simply aren't enough homes. We do it because we love these animals and are devoted to this cause.
