Foster cat`s bio for their adoption profile: Meet Kahlua! This sweet girl was found living in a snowbank in March 2025, and is getting used to her new life filled with treats, toys, and snuggles. She`s timid and is not yet keen on making the first move, sometimes hissing when her foster goes to pick her up. But, she has never gone any further in her protests, and is a bundle of love once she`s held. Kahlua loves some cuddle time on the bed, and makes it clear by purring, rolling for belly rubs, and making biscuits everywhere she can reach. Kahlua had a big change in her short life by being picked up by SCAT, but is already adjusting and realizing the joys of treats and feathers wands. She is learning that people are her friends, but is still shy and likes to spend lots of time under the bed where she feels safe. She is getting braver and more comfortable with her foster every day, and showing more of her kitten side. Kahlua would benefit from a quiet home that is patient and willing to give her the time and care for her to become the most playful, loving kitten.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
