Hello, everyone! I'm Chaya or as I am also called, Chi Chi. I am a timid and cuddly bunny of our sister duo. Alongside my best friend and bond mate, Lilah or Lil for short, we're a pair of young and sweet sisters who must be adopted together.
Out of the two of us, I'm the more shy and reserved bunny, but I absolutely love gentle, head pets. I find comfort and warmth in snuggling up with Lil and I have been known to snuggle up with our foster human. We're incredibly fortunate to have such loving companions! We live in a foster home that allows us hours of free roam time every day. It's such a delight to have the freedom to explore and play to our heart's content.
Lil, my adventurous sister, is always on the go, darting around with endless energy. When she finally tires herself out, she seeks me out so we can have a cozy cuddle together.
Just like Lil, my favorite snack is Romaine lettuce. The crispness and juiciness of each leaf are simply irresistible! Oh, and I must mention that we're both litter box trained. Our foster family has taken great care to bunny proof their house, ensuring that we have plenty of safe alternatives to chew on instead of household items.
Speaking of our foster mom, she tells us that we're very friendly bunnies. We would be absolutely thrilled to meet you and share our affection with you. Dogs are no problem for us, and we're comfortable around older and considerate children. As for cats, well, we haven't had the chance to meet one yet, so it's hard to say how we would do with them.
We're eagerly awaiting our forever home, where we can bring joy and companionship into your life. If you're looking for two adorable and loving bunnies to complete your family, Lil and I would be overjoyed to join you. Let's create beautiful memories together!
If you are interested in meeting us please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com .
*RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.*
Gender: Female
Approximate birthdate: 5/4/2020
Approximate weight: 5.13 pounds
Adoption fee for Pair: $160.00 (+tax)
RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and RHDV2 vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.
If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
