Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Omega, affectionately known as Megs, spent the first seven years of her life in the loving care of her adoptive family. When their living situation changed and they could no longer provide for Megs and her brother Alfie (short for Alpha), they turned to HART for assistance.
Megs is a sweet but timid soul who spent her first days in foster care hiding from view, tucked safely underneath a blanket. Once we realized the "lump in the bed" was indeed our missing cat, we began sweet-talking and offering gentle pets with the blanket still in place. By day four, Megs bravely emerged and allowed us to interact with her directly! Her progress has continued steadily ever since — we’ve earned her trust, and she’s gained new confidence.
Now, Megs is ready for a forever family who will give her the time and patience she needs to settle in. With a little understanding at the start, you’ll be rewarded with a loving, lifelong companion.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
