What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We found Louie while going for a walk, to avoid him being hit by a car we brought him home while trying to find the owner. Found owner through social media he was moving and didn’t want the dog, he would take him to be euthanized. He agreed to let us take him to rehome. Takes 3-4 days for Louie to feel comfortable with new people, once familiar he loves to cuddle. We gave him rabies vaccine which is current, he has had minimal exposure to children and done well, haven’t had him around cats. Needs a secure fenced yard, prior owner had chain link fence and he would dig out. House trained but will mark his territory, he is in home with other dogs and I believe that is the reason. Approximately 3 years old we feel like he needs to be the only pet. We have other dogs and are unable to keep him. Hoping for home where someone can spend most of the day with him.. bed will go with him, willing to travel approximately 3 hours for relocation.
