My name is Shep!

Hey 😍 I adopted this dog from a friend here in Colorado Springs. At the time he was one of 3 others in a small crate unfortunately. So I consider him a rescue because his living situation was not ment for his breed! When first meeting him he was extremely timid and scared. Took him a while to warm up to me and my husband. We were persistent on taking him home and giving him a better life than he was delt! We did that to the best of our abilities.
Once in our home and in our care he became an outside dog HE LOVES BEING OUTSIDE! He has a bother who is moving to Texas soon. He is good with other dogs on a one on one basis but not in a group setting or dog park.He wasn’t socialized before and isn’t now. He loves one on one attention and affection and belly rubs. He sleeps in side and would do great on a doggy bed. He knows the basics sit, stay, wait and go. Shep does need a secure home and someone who can give him the care love and patience he needs! He’s older approximately 4 years old
