Meet Lucy! Lucy is approximately 6 months old, 31 lbs currently and she likely has some Hound or Lab in her mix! She was found as a stray. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house-training, crate training, and leash walking. She could go to a home with kids 5+, and young playful dogs. She has not been exposed to cats.
Her foster says, `Lucy loves loves loves my other dogs and freely inserts herself into playing and wrestling. I’ve never heard her growl and the only time she barked is when the other dogs are barking. She is still a puppy so an adopter would have to keep that in mind. She stays in the crate at bedtime and in the crate if I leave the house or in the shower. She loves to lay on my dog couch with her buddies. She has plenty of energy but wants to take a few naps in the daytime. She plays hard and wears herself out. She will eat all her food and any leftovers from the other dogs. She was very thin but gaining weight daily. She will be a great dog to add to a busy active family.`
She is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on May 9th. Please fill out an application on our website at https://www.browndogcoalition.com/adoptable as a first step.
-Dogs may not be given as gifts or surprises. -Please thoughtfully discuss with your entire household the physical, safety, financial and emotional responsibilities of a dog BEFORE applying to adopt. - More information about our adoption process, application and adoption fees can be found at browndogcoalition.com
