Zeke’s journey to safety began when a local resident found him during a neighborhood TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project. It was clear right away that Zeke was too friendly to return to life outdoors—he's a social boy who loves people and is ready for a home of his own.
This young, handsome tabby is sweet, chatty, and full of playful energy. He enjoys the company of other cats and, with a slow and proper introduction, would love to have a feline friend to romp and cuddle with. True to his outgoing personality, Zeke can be a little bossy at times, but it's all part of his spirited charm.
If you're looking for a playful companion who will keep you entertained with his antics and shower you with affection, Zeke just might be the perfect addition to your family!

Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
