My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kota is the best dog I’ve ever owned (including all I grew up with that’s’ out of 7). He is so sweet and is the quintessential Golden. He was pure bred in Japan, born in November 2015, and rehomed to me at one year old. He understands commands well and lives to fetch. He has an aggressive bark but is the most gentle dog you will ever meet. He will match your energy and just wants to be with “the pack”. That means he will follow you absolutely everywhere. His downsides are his shedding, that he has a wheat allergy that manifests in hot spots on his hind quarters or legs/paws, and his seizures. They started when he was about 5 years old and home alone a lot. Since we have added two other dogs and my wife began staying at home last May, and we switched him to a higher quality food (Orijen Senior Dog), he has not had one. When they did happen he would be unable to stand up, then once we rolled him onto his side he would begin shaking for a couple of minutes, then return to normal.
