This 7 - 8 year old senior girl is the sweetest most loving dog!
Nani is an easy, quiet, low maintenance girl. She loves all people, particularly children. Nani was lucky enough to be in a foster home for a few months. She was so happy and loved her fosters particularly the little boy.
Nani and the 4 year old were best friends and cuddle buddies.
What Nani loves the most is to be around her humans. When she sees the people she loves she does a little happy to see you dance that is so sweet and makes you laugh.
Once she gets to know you, she will smother you with kisses. She loves to be scratched and loves to lay next to you.
Nani doesn't require a lot of activity in her life, just a place where she can play, and sleep. She likes her walks but they don't have to be very long. She is a little reactive on leash with other dogs but easy to redirect.
Nani loves the beach and had such fun at the beach with her friends Veronica and her 8 year old daughter.
Nani would prefer to be the only dog in the home. She's a very chill, relaxed lady.

We are an all volunteer, 501c3 non profit animal rescue group working to save animals from high kill Southern California shelters such as the Camarillo shelter. We give abandoned animals a safe permanent home through networking, adoption events and transporting animals to reputable 501c3 rescues. We have a strong focus on the most at risk for death row breeds; pit bulls and chihuahas. We advocate for animal welfare, affordable spay and neuter programs and ending backyard breeding. Through community education we hope to restore the positive image of the American Pit Bull Terrier as the loving family dog it truly is. We depend completely on charitable donations to support our work. Donations are needed to cover pull fees to get animals out of the shelter, temporary boarding fees, transport and vet costs. We support the NO KILL platform and dream of the day when all shelters will be NO KILL.
