My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.

Bellamy came to us after her original rescue closed and her adopter's health failed.  We had taken in 4 dogs from a shelter's cruelty case and she came from the same group.  She looks like a toy poodle and we're not sure if she's pure or mixed.  She is friendly, delightful and so ready for a committed home and people who will adore her, take great care of her and love her for the rest of her life!  Her teeth were a mess initially and we believe that made the other give her a higher age guess.  In observing her, we don't believe she's older than about 7 years.  She's in perfect shape now.
If applying for her adoption, please note your groomer and their phone number on the application where it asks if you have anything else to add about yourself.  Home grooms are not permitted.  She was adopted by the other rescue and came to us with a matted, long coat and horrendously long nails.  She deserves to be well cared for from here on out.

Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.

More about this rescue

We are a compassionate group of volunteers that rescue dogs mostly from shelters when their time is up or when they are at capacity and will have to euthanize adoptable pets. We get many different breeds both pure bred and mixes, from very tiny to very large.
We believe every adoptable animals should have a 2nd chance at a great life. We seek commited, equally passionate adopters to provide a wonderful, loving home to our dogs!
We also believe spaying & neutering is the answer to the homeless animal population along with education.
