My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I am a sweet, shy, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!

Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!

I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.

I will flourish in a calm environment and a low-traffic home.

I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.

I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.

A volunteer writes: Sweet, sassy Miss Cypress came to us after her previous people were displaced by a fire in their building. Most cats would find it hard to adjust to the very different surroundings at the Care Center, but Cypress has been charming everyone with her big personality, love of pettings (cheek rubs are a favorite!), and calm demeanor. She happily showers her human friends with attention, and she'll never pass up the opportunity to take a break and chow down on treats. Cypress has some sensitivity on her back where she doesn't like to be touched, but this might have to do with some matted fur she had there, which was recently removed. Beautiful, bold, and with incredible BBF potential, Cypress is waiting on 110th Street for her new forever family.
