My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Brandy & Wall-E are a bonded pair.

Hello potential new family! I'm Brandy, a gorgeous 3-year-old orange longhaired lady with fancy white socks and a matching bib. I'm looking for my second chance at forever with my best buddy Wall-E!

Let me tell you about myself - I'm what some might call "spirited"! I have OPINIONS about when and how I should be petted (hint: I'll let you know when I'm in the mood). Sometimes I get so excited during pets that I might grab or give little love nips - I'm still learning the difference between play time and cuddle time!

Speaking of play, I'm a ball enthusiast! I also enjoy sitting on laps... for exactly 3.5 minutes before finding something more interesting to do. My other favorite hobbies include grooming Wall-E and finding high perches.

Wall-E and I are a package deal - we've been through some tough times together, and while I might seem independent, I really do need my gentle giant around.

Looking for some entertainment and adventure in your life? I promise you'll never be bored with me (and Wall-E) around!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
