Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet pup one of our terrific trio!
FELIPE and his two sisters are a sad but common rescue story. A small local shelter called A Lab for Life asking for their help with these sweet babies as they had not been claimed and were scheduled to be euthanized due to over crowding at the shelter. We always do our best to save as many as we can so we stepped up for these three!
FELIPE is the biggest of his siblings but he’s decided he’s going to be the most easy going! At four months old FELIPE doesn’t need much, just a human to snuggle, some water to splash around in, and a few treats if you’ve got them to spare!
FELIPE is doing great pottying on a schedule and he’s crate training like a pro! When his foster mom says “kennel up”, away he goes to snuggle down! Were you wondering how he does with other pups? Well let me tell you he’s a friendly boy to his siblings and the other big dogs in his foster home! He’s learning how to walk on a leash and will get better with more training.
FELIPE is a good boy who’s ready to settle in with a forever family! Could that be you?

Most of our Meets are done virtually due to Covid as well as successful adopters are often geographically distanced. Fosters and potential adopters arrange "Facetime" meetings.

More about this rescue
A Lab for Life (ALL) provides a compassionate life-line to abandoned dogs that includes a safe haven, medical care by a licensed veterinarian, nutrition (food) and a fur-ever family through adoption. ALL promotes the humane treatment of animals in the community.
ALL was founded in July 2020 by a group of dog advocates in central Oklahoma and
Northeastern US after some had been volunteering with an out of state rescue for over 5 years. That experience solidified a local organization was needed. ALL formed to rescue as many stray, homeless and owner surrendered dogs as possible by partnering with many state-wide shelters and rescue operations. In addition to transferring homeless dogs from the shelters, fostering them in temporary homes and adopting them out, we also provide behavioral and medical resources to people who are considering surrendering their dog in an effort to keep the dog in their homes and out of the shelter/rescue system.
ALL operates under the 5 freedoms for animal welfare.
We are a brand new organization and welcome donations!
