Their adoption process
All of our senior mutts are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and given flea/tick/dewormer medication. Regular adoptions are typically $250, and there is no adoption fee for senior adopters and Hospice adoptions, though we love donations to help pay it forward for the next mutt!
Adoption steps
- Submit Application
- Please submit an adoption questionnaire for the mutt(s) you are interested in. We will be in touch within 24 hours to connect!
- Meet the Pet
- If you know who you're interested in, we'll arrange a meeting in person or virtually. If you're still browsing, come to an adoption event!
- Take the Pet Home
- If you'd like to adopt we have a short finalization process and then you get to take your new dog home!

If you know who you're interested in, fill out our questionnaire at muttville.org/how_to_adopt and we'll arrange a meeting either at our HQ or virtually with your mutt's foster parent. (Many of our lucky mutts live in foster homes!)
