What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Rain is a 7-year-old Alaskan Malamute (born 01/08/2018) looking for a loving, committed home. He is incredibly sweet, gentle, and friendly, great with people, kids, and even cats. He LOVES bananas, apples, and watermelon, and he’s a big cuddle bug who adores belly rubs.
It’s important to know that Rain has never been formally trained. He listens well when it’s just us, but he gets easily distracted around others. He needs someone patient, active, and willing to work with him, take him on regular walks, and give him the structure he never had.
I originally planned to relocate overseas, but plans changed, and now with medical school, I don’t have the time he deserves. Rain is a wonderful dog with so much potential, he just needs the right person to help bring it out.
I’m also willing to cover his food and supplement expenses for the first couple of months to help with the transition.
Looking for a truly loving home that can give him the attention, training, and affection he needs.
