Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Handsome Hogan is a beautiful German Shepherd type gentleman looking for a quiet home to retire in. This smart boy knows sit, stay, and he offers his paw to shake—after you pass the Hogan sniff test LOL. We know he had a home and is very likely potty trained. He`s adjusting to shelter life, but it`s been hard for him. GSD type dogs don`t do well in a shelter environment; he`s a little scared and unsure of all the goings-on. He`s getting a little extra love from volunteers, but that`s no substitute for a quiet home. Despite his 107 lbs., Hogan is low energy and walks slowly with minimal to no pulling. It takes him a minute to warm up to new people, but with some hot dogs in hand, he`s happy to get leashed and walked. Hogan needs an adult-only home where he can feel safest. Given his age and size, he would thrive in a GSD+ or X-large dog experienced home where he could count on a soft bed, daily short-walks, yummy treats, and a gentle approach. In return, Hogan will offer trust, loyal companionship, gratitude, and so much love! https://youtube.com/shorts/L1wF8y3P_TU?si=i3IA-yonC6K-O-SM
