My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Juice is currently at the shelter, and he is available for foster or adoption. Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

Juice is a lively, lovable pittie mix who’s always ready for action. Whether he’s sprinting around the yard, playing tug, or chewing on a bone, Juice brings nonstop fun and a whole lot of personality. He’s got energy to burn and joy to share—and he’d love a home that can keep up!

Juice loves other playful dogs and would love to have dog friends, but would likely do best to have his own home to relax in. He thrives on activity and structure, and he’s happiest when he has both. While he’s still working on his manners (he’s a little too enthusiastic sometimes), he’s smart, food-motivated, and learns quickly with consistent, positive guidance.

Juice is looking for an adult-only home with people who understand big personalities and big energy. He’s not a match for small kids, but he’s a total gem for the right adults—especially if they’re dog-savvy and ready to help him shine.

If you’re searching for a fun-loving, social, and affectionate pup who’s always up for a good time, Juice might just be your perfect match.

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
