My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Snickers. 💕

I’m a gentle, affectionate girl who’s ready to find my forever home. I love calm spaces, soft voices, and cozy spots where I can stretch out and relax. If you’re someone who enjoys quiet companionship, we might be a perfect match.

I’m happiest when I’m near my people; not necessarily on top of you, but close enough to feel safe and connected. Gentle brushing is one of my favorite things, and I’ll happily curl up beside you while you go about your day. I have a sweet, peaceful presence and a lot of love to give.

I’d do best as your one and only pet in a quieter home where I can soak up all your attention. I don’t ask for much, just a little patience, some kindness, and a warm place where I can finally settle in for good.

If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion who will appreciate every moment of comfort and care, I’d really love to meet you.

Love,
Snickers 🐾

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
