My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Stacey, a sweet 10-year-old Labrador Retriever mix has made her way to Big Dog Ranch in April of 2025 from Palm Beach County Animal Care & Control in hopes of finding her forever family. At her core, Stacey is a gentle soul with so much love to give, and she’s ready to settle into a home where she can finally be cherished. With her calm, low-energy personality, Stacey is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a relaxed pace of life. She’d make an especially wonderful match for a senior adopter or anyone looking for a laid-back best friend. Stacey is leash-trained and housetrained, so she’s already a well-mannered lady who will fit right into your routine. She loves playing with her toys, adores tasty treats—she’s very food motivated, which makes her eager to please, and knows her basic commands. Stacey is also a total snuggle bug who would happily curl up beside you and soak up all the affection you’re willing to give. Stacey is wonderful with kids, making her a great addition to a family looking for a sweet, gentle dog who can share love with everyone in the home. She truly has a heart of gold and is just waiting for someone to give her the comfort, love, and stability she deserves. If you’ve been searching for a loyal, affectionate, and easygoing companion, Stacey is ready to be your new best friend!
