Louie was abandoned at some apartments when his owners moved out. He was not very successful living on his own and lost quite a bit of weight. A neighbor offered to feed him but he was not able to be sheltered and has been living an indoor/outdoor like. Louie is a very sweet fellow and is hard to imagine him being left behind. He certainly did nothing to deserve that. He gets along with other cats who come a feeding area. Louie would LOVE a home. He just needs someone to give him that chance and a little time to acclimate.
Louie has been neutered, gotten his basic shots, tested for FeLV and FIV and microchipped, deflead and dewormed. He did test positive for FIV but keeping him indoors and having regular vet checkups should keep him healthy for a normal lifespan.
An application, landlord approval if renting, vet reference, and an adoption fee are required. In lieu of a vet reference a safety home check may be required. Willing to place him in a foster-to-adopt setting.
Discount to seniors, military/veterans, with proof of disability and adoption of multiples.
