Maya was rescued from BARC’s euthanasia list just in time. This sweet girl came to us with a severe eye infection that sadly wasn’t treated soon enough, leaving her blind in one eye. But don’t let that fool you—Maya doesn’t let anything slow her down! She’s a total diva in the best way.
Maya is absolutely obsessed with blankets. In fact, she insists on sleeping with at least two at all times. Her foster mama swears she must have grown up in a home with dogs, because she’s completely unfazed by them. At just around a year old, Maya is still full of young kitty energy and charm.
Fair warning: she’s impossible to photograph! She’s always on the move and never sits still long enough for a proper photo shoot—but that just adds to her quirky personality.
