My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jacqueline and Marguerite are true examples of how rescuing a cat can transform a life. These two babies were found feral, in a drainage ditch, and very sick back in November. They were trapped, spayed, tamed and nursed back to health for months. Now, healthier than ever, they are ready for their furever home. They would make a great addition to any family willing to have patience with them and give them a comfortable, quiet space to adjust. Marguerite has the loudest purr you’ll ever hear. She is so playful, curious, loving, and adores being pet and held. Sometimes, she’s so relaxed she will let you hold her upside down like a baby. Jacqueline is very shy and likes to hide. When it’s feeding time, if she feels comfortable and safe, she will rub against you and purr. She wants to be cuddled and held but she is still a little timid, especially when it comes to loud and sudden movements. She just needs some TLC and patience. They both have been around other cats and a small dog. They both are the sweetest babies, in need of the best home possible. DOB 08/15/2024

More about this rescue

Foster Paws Rescue works on a daily basis to save cats/kittens at the greatest risk at Greenville's local high kill shelter. Our mission is to find every cat/ kitten a loving forever home. We are an all volunteer feline rescue group. In 2014, we saved approximately 500+ cats/kittens. Most all of our cats are in foster homes so they receive personalized care and socialization. We are always looking for GREAT fosters and people willing to bottle feed during kitten season. Since we are all volunteer, we are in need of help in every aspect of the rescue process. Donations are always welcome whether it is food, beds, toys or monetary. Our long term goal is to work with the community and government to convert from a high kill community to NO KILL.
