Meet Brittany
Brittany is a beautiful, approximately 2-year-old cat with a quiet strength and a gentle soul. She was found wandering alone in a hallway, and while we don’t know her full past, her early behavior suggested she may not have had the kindest start in life. For the first few months, Brittany was extremely fearful—growling at the sight of people and not wanting to be touched at all.
But with time, patience, and love, Brittany has blossomed. She’s still a bit reserved and will need a calm, understanding home that gives her space to build trust at her own pace. Once she feels safe, she reveals a kind and sweet personality that’s absolutely worth the wait. She’s vocal and expressive, letting you know when she’s curious or unsure, and she’s truly come a long way.
Brittany is currently not spayed and still goes into heat, but she appears to be in good health. She’s slowly learning how to be around other cats, but introductions should be done gradually. She’s not the kind of cat who will instantly curl up in your lap—but she is the kind of cat who will reward your patience with deep, genuine connection.
If you’re looking for a quiet companion with a brave heart, Brittany is ready to meet someone who will give her the second chance she deserves.

More about this rescue
Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.
Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
