Meet Greta!
Greta is a beautiful 2 year old Lab mix who came to us from Puerto Rico, along with her sweet pup Gio. While she and her son are very close, they’re both ready to find forever homes, either together or separately.
Greta has quickly won over everyone at the shelter with her gentle spirit and infectious smile, we’ve even nicknamed her our Smiley Gal because she greets everyone with the happiest face! She absolutely loves human affection and will lean right into you for pets and cuddles. Whether it’s playtime in the yard or just soaking up some attention, Greta is all about it!
She’s fully potty trained and enjoys running and playing, though she could benefit from a little basic training, she gets excited and can be a tad jumpy at times. Nothing a bit of patience and positive reinforcement can’t fix!
Greta seems to do well with other dogs and, given her calm and affectionate personality, we believe she would thrive in a home with children. She's incredibly patient and loving. These are traits that make her an ideal family dog.
She is spayed and almost fully up to date on her vaccines, so she’s just about ready to head home with her perfect match.
