Meet Gio!
This sweet, goofy Lab mix is just 10 months old and came to us all the way from Puerto Rico. He was recently surrendered to our shelter along with his beloved mama, and while they're close, they can be adopted separately.
Gio is full of energy and personality! He’s a playful goofball who absolutely loves attention. He can get a little jumpy, he doesn’t quite realize his size yet and he's still working through that mouthy puppy phase. The good news? He’s a great listener, already potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash. With some basic training, he’ll make a fantastic companion.
Gio is incredibly charming and seems to get along well with other dogs. In fact, we think he'd thrive in a home with a canine buddy. We’re not entirely sure how he’d do with kids, but given his affectionate nature, he’ll likely do well in a family, maybe just not with very small children until he learns to keep all four paws on the ground.
If you’re an active family who loves outdoor fun, Gio might be your perfect match! He’s neutered and will be up to date on his vaccines soon, now all he needs is a loving forever home.
