My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

💪 Meet Rocko: The Spunky Beefcake Ready to Win Your Heart!

Rocko is a handsome, hefty 10-month-old puppy who’s full of personality, charm, and energy! Originally joining us as an 8-week-old pup, he was recently surrendered and is now looking for a stable, loving forever home where he can thrive and grow into the amazing adult dog he’s destined to be.

Rocko’s Personality:

Playful Social Butterfly: Rocko loves other dogs and thrives when he gets to romp, chase, and wrestle with his canine pals. His enthusiasm for play is contagious, and he’s always ready for a fun adventure.

Chill Relaxation Mode: When he’s not playing, Rocko enjoys chewing on his toys and relaxing in his kennel, showing he can balance his high-energy play with calm downtime.

Confident and Outgoing: Rocko approaches the world with a spunky, confident attitude. He’s curious, brave, and loves meeting new people (and showering them with affection!).

Why Rocko is a Great Match:
Rocko is a strong, sturdy, and handsome pup who will make an amazing companion for an active, patient family. Like many teenage pups, he’s still learning and growing, which means he needs guidance, training, and consistent love to become the best version of himself.

Rocko’s Ideal Home:

A family ready to embrace his energy and playfulness

Lots of opportunities for socialization with other dogs

Patience, structure, and love to help him navigate teenage puppyhood

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, social, and confident young pup who will bring energy, laughter, and unconditional love into your home, Rocko is waiting to meet you! Get ready for long walks, playful romps, and countless puppy snuggles with this spunky beefcake. 🐾💛

More about this shelter

At Darbster Rescue, our goal is to place kittens, cats, and dogs with great, forever homes in New England. The pets are primarily from South Florida and other southern states where the euthanasia rates are very high. Our shelters are in New Hampshire which has a strong demand for pets relative to supply and where shelters like ours are strictly no kill operations. Our animals will go to their new homes spayed or neutered, UTD on shots and a clean bill of health from FL and NH. We are here to help everyone look for the perfect match for themselves and their family.
