Hello there, I’m Sunshine—a stunning 11-year-old long-haired calico with a one-of-a-kind coat of orange, black, and white. My warm, sunny colors and unique splotches don’t follow any pattern you’ve ever seen—I'm truly one of a kind! I absolutely love being petted, but if you really want to win me over, face and chin rubs are the way to my heart.
I’m considered petite—just under 9 pounds—which makes me the perfect size for a warm lap, one of my favorite places to be! I’ve lived both outdoors and indoors, and these days I’m all about the comforts of home. However, one of my favorite pastimes here at HART is lounging in the catio, soaking up the sunshine (naturally!) and watching the birds and bees go by, so a sunny window or patio would be ideal. Other cats? I find them to be decent company, but I’m also perfectly content doing my own thing. I’m hoping to find a quiet home with loving humans who will appreciate my sweet, mellow nature. Could that be you?

Adoption applications will be reviewed during shelter hours (Tue-Sat, 12-5.) We reserve the right to deny an application for any reason.

During the Adoption Interview, we will discuss your living situation, your needs, and how you plan to provide a happy home for a cat.

Pay Fee
Adoption Fees:
Kittens under 1 year old: $125,
Cats 1- 8 years old: $99,
Senior cats, 8+ years: $69,
Seniors (8+) for Seniors (62+): $25

Take the Pet Home
If you plan to adopt, please bring a carrier with you for your new kitty! Otherwise a cardboard carrier may be provided.
