My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet the Vinster! (His friends call him Vinny) 2yo, 40lb - the perfect petite size for this little monochrome pup! This potato is looking to be a stay-at-home, couch-snoozin', snack-stealin', butt-wigglin' puppy dog who is always waiting at the door for you!!

Vinny is a happy dude who loves ALL people, kids included! Vinny says - "kid's always have the best snacks!"  Vinny would love to have a HUMAN ONLY home, so that he can be the center of attention and get all the snuggles and attention.

Vinny came from a high-kill shelter in rural Ohio where one of our rescue friends saw him and he couldn't get in the car fast enough. We don't know his background completely, but that doesn't slow him down from giving all the love and wiggly butts to his humans.

Vinny loves to go for walks, eat pup cups, clean up after his little human children, and snuggle up on the middle of the bed and watch nature documentaries. He really is your typical "House Hippo".

Because Vinny was a shelter dog, we would love to see Vinny go to a home with a human who knows the breed and understands his specific needs. Vinny MUST be the only dog in the home, and his adopter must agree to not taking Vin to dog parks or to socialize with other canines.

Vinny is full of love, zoomies, slobber, and smiles. This little guy would make a family with dog educated kids very very happy!

If you'd like to learn more about Vinny, submit an interest form on our website.        https://redemptionroadrescue.rescuegroups.org/forms/

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process is simple. The very first step is to fill out our adoption interest form through our website.

We'll look over your application and determine if the animal you are interested in is a good match for your family. If it looks like a good match, we will contact you to set up a time for you to meet the animal. If you decide after meeting him/her that you want to move forward with adoption, we will set up a home visit and finalize the adoption! Please note that filling out an interest form does not guarantee adoption of an animal, and we don't adopt out animals on a first come first serve basis. We endeavor to find the best match for all animals and families.

Adoption fees cover age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter (if old enough), and costs involved in caring for the animals up to the point of adoption. Adoption fees also help fund veterinary costs of animals who come to rescue that need extra care.
