Meet Augustus—also affectionately known as Splotch—a strikingly handsome young gentleman with a personality as charming as his gray-and-white coat. Estimated to be around 2 years old, Augustus was found as a stray, but he’s made himself right at home in his foster space and has fully embraced the indoor cat life.
This confident, affectionate cat loves claiming a sunny windowsill for birdwatching, cozying up at the foot of the bed, and chasing catnip toys in between his favorite activity: eating! Augustus isn’t shy about letting you know when it’s mealtime (which, in his opinion, is often). He may not be a lap cat, but he thoroughly enjoys pets—especially head rubs and, when he’s feeling generous, a good belly scratch.
Augustus is a master of head butts, leg rubs, and making his people feel loved. He can be a little cautious with new faces at first but warms up quickly once he knows you're a friend.
If you're looking for a playful, sweet, and food-motivated companion with a lot of love to give, Augustus might just be your perfect match.

Augustus is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and ready to find his forever home. He is FIV+. FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) is a slow-acting virus that affects a cat's immune system, but many FIV+ cats live long, healthy lives. It’s only spread through deep bite wounds, so they can live safely with other friendly cats!
