Sir Steven is a sweet and social 2 1/2-year-old boy looking for a forever home filled with snacks, naps in the sunshine, and cozy couch cuddles! A bit shy at first, Sir Steven warms up quickly when bribed with treats and will soon be melting into pets. He gets along very well with other cats and would be thrilled to have a kitty companion in his forever home. He would be happy to live with older children and, though we haven't tested it, we think he'd do well with calm dogs too.
Sir Steven is FIV+. FIV is a feline specific disease that transmits primarily through deep bite wounds. Cats who are FIV+ can remain asymptomatic for years or their whole lives, and studies have shown that FIV+ is not associated with a decreased life span. Sir Steven's FIV+ status does not require any special treatment currently, and is not expected to at any point in his life.
