My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This boy is TRAINED! After finding him abandoned at a construction site we sought to set him up for success! He has graduated a 6 week training program that taught him all of the following: E-collar trained, off leash trained, highly receptive to commands (sit, stay, leave it, off, down, and more!). He is already crate trained as well!

We put so much into setting this boy up for his forever home that we hope to find him an owner that is wanting to utilize all he as learned! While he can 100% be a couch potato and we are open to a life like that for him, if you’re wanting a trained pup who can be a great guard dog, protection dog, and just overall companion then this is your guy!

One small detail: he needs to be your only dog. In his past life this guy was clearly never socialized with other dogs and as a result he has minimal manners with them. He has two modes - scared of them or off the wall excited. Keep him away from other dogs and he is the best most obedient boy but have him near other dogs and… not so much. He has made great strides on this and if you’re willing to continue then were confident he will overcome his poor manners. But a lifestyle of just being with his person and only his person is absolutely ideal for him.

Other perks: LOVES car rides, more than treats, more than anything. So gentle and brave for baths, just watch out because he’ll try to drink the bath water!

Good with gentle kids - he has a fear of people approaching his head too quickly, we think he was hit :(
Not overly active, doesn’t require walks. Attach a rope to a tree and watch him tire himself out in 6 minutes.

He is available for meet and greets most days!
