Bridger is a big loving guy that takes some time to acclimate to new situations and people. He has been in foster with a toddler and another dog but he is currently in boarding due to no foster home found since the previous fosters moved out of state.
When we picked Bridger up from the shelter he had been shot through his left ear, so he had chronic ear infections that led to surgery, which helped. However, that ear will need to be maintained (with drops and cleaning) often to avoid future surgeries.
Bridger knows sit, and takes treats gently. He is crate trained but not house trained. Since he is in boarding his potty training skills have taken a back seat and he will need time to learn the new schedule when he gets to his forever home. He once was potty trained so we hope it won't take long for him to get back into a system.
He throughly enjoys being outside and does best meeting other dogs off leash in a controlled and neutral environment. After meeting another dog he can walk on leash next to them.
