Hi, I'm Vanellope. I'm very sweet and sassy. I have never been in a home before so please be patient with me as I have a lot to learn. I am good with cats, I'm just picky about who I like. I also like smaller dogs and puppies. I am becoming better with making friends. I currently love to bird watch and nap. I would love to be able to be on a harness and try my paw at bird hunting. Please take me home, the shelter needs space and I know I can make someone happy!!!!

Stray Animal Midway Shelter (SAMS) was incorporated in 2010 with our focus being spay neuter assistance. In Noovember of 2013 SAMS purchased property and now operates as a no-kill shelter in Peoria County. We work closely with local and surrounding county shelters and obtain healthy and adoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized for lack of space. SAMS receives no funding from government, state, county or municiple entities and are funded solelyby fundraising and donations. You can help by volunteering, adopting and donating to our cause.
