Yam is a snuggly, friendly, and adorable female flame-point Siamese in need of a home. We brought Yam home from Anchorage Animal Care to provide companionship to our resident cat, but unfortunately, despite our best efforts, our resident cat does not accept Yam.
Yam is a perfect cat for anyone who needs a true companion. She is happy to follow you around as you perform tasks around the house, but she is also perfectly happy to nap in a cozy place while you are away. She is a bit shy at first, but she warms up quickly.
Yam needs to be in a home with no dogs or small children. Older children are OK. She may get along with another non-confrontational cat who is okay sharing space, but their introduction needs to be slow and careful.
No rehoming fee. Comes with her preferred cat food and supplies.
