I adopted Bard as a kitten along with his brother Bjorn on May 6, 2015 so he is 10 now. Bard and Bjorn have been together since birth and are strongly bonded, so this listing is for both of them together. Bard is friendly and curious and spends his days napping in sunny spots, the couch, or the bed. He loves to be brushed and purrs loudly when he's content. He tolerates dogs that aren't too playful, and does well with my young children, often curling up with them for naps.
While Bard has overall been healthy (despite being overweight), in July of 2022 he required surgery to remove bladder stones. Now, he is on a prescription urinary diet to prevent their recurrence. In the past year, Bard has developed allergy symptoms that occasionally require antibiotic treatment. I'm hoping to find him a home that will appreciate how sweet and loving he and his brother are while being better equipped to handle his increasing medical needs.
