Meet the Pet
Silas was born here on 5-7-24 and is another baby that hasn't had a visit or a chance at a "furever" family up to this point. This guy is very lovable and totally enjoys playing fetch and only weighs in at around 35 pounds so, he will not be a large boy. He is great with other dogs but does have high play energy and another dog in the home would need to match. However, he is submissive with other dogs if it comes to that. Silas is still a big puppy and will need some training in his new home. He also seems to prefer being outside to inside, so if you want a dog that likes a lot of outdoor time, this is the one. This boy has a gentle temperament and you can do anything in the world to him with no issues. So, any active family with room for him to run should work for this guy. He is also mostly house trained but does prefer outside with a fence to run in and we are working with him on a leash. He is up to date medically for his age and current on flea/heartworm prevention and neutered. If you are interested in visiting or adopting, please submit our application at Richardsonrescue.org.
