My name is Candy!

Candy is a special girl in more ways than one—not only is she incredibly loving and gentle, but she’s also a rare orange female cat! Only about 1 in 5 orange cats are girls, and Candy’s one of those golden gems.

This young mama came to us from the streets, still just a kitten herself, doing everything she could to care for her two babies. It wasn’t easy, but her strength and devotion helped them all make it through. Now that her kittens are safe and thriving, it’s Candy’s turn to enjoy a life of comfort and love. Candy adores curling up in small spaces or cozy cubbies and will happily hop into your lap for a warm nap. She’s sweet, gentle, and ready to be someone’s cherished companion

Candy has a medium energy level and is most playful in the mornings and evenings. Ideally her people will give her a quick play session before bed so she can rest easier. She’s always up for a game, and the way she wiggles her butt before chasing toys is just the cutest.
When visitors come over, she might hide under the bed at first, but she’s getting braver all the time. During the day, she loves napping on her foster's desk and enjoying pets.

Prior to adoption, all cats/kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV, vaccinated, dewormed, deflead, and microchipped.
