Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Cinnamon is a female chocolate and tan dachshund mixed with some kind of unknown small terrier giving her legs. She is 3-5 years old and weighs 21 lbs. Cinnamon is spayed, vaccinated including rabies. She also had her teeth cleaned during her spay surgery. Cinnamon is light heartworm positive and on the moxi/doxy slow kill protocol. Cinnamon is ready for adoption.
Cinnamon is Valentine #16 from our group rescued on Valentine’s Day, all pulled from the same overcrowded home. Cinnamon had 7 babies in tow, only days old. The picture of her in the black metal crate is her with her puppies sitting in the unloading bay of the shelter having just been pulled from the home. Cinnamon was cool as a cucumber during the entire process right up until today. From the get-go Cinnamon was the most polite, sweet dog. She very rarely barks, inside or outside, but she is super alert to porch visitors, squirrels, neighbors working on their yards, etc. Cinnamon is fine with kenneling but has great house manners and is potty trained. Honestly her only negative is she thinks leashes are horrible things and needs help to learn to walk on one. Cinnamon is fine with the cats, people (probably of any age, men and women alike) and dogs whether familiar or new. She’s a bigger small dog, perfect for not getting underfoot but still can be picked up by most people. We want for Cinnamon to have an especially wonderful home that values her gentle, happy personality.
