Joey is a handsome senior who looks forward to spending his golden years in a loving and quiet home. Once he adjusts to the new smells and sounds, he will be your best buddy! He will give you a nudge with his paw to tell you that it's time for another tummy rub, or a nudge with his head for an ear scratch. He also likes to be brushed (his fur was shaved due to being matted and it is starting to grow back).

Joey isn’t a fan of being picked up but he will hang out with you on the couch and may curl up at your feet at night.

His favourite treat is Temptations, and he enjoys Churu tubes and catnip now and again. He loves to chase the laser pointer and lets out a cute throaty meow as he tries to catch it.

He is independent and is content on his own during the day. He is quite shy around new people and will run from the doorbell or knocks at the door.

Joey would like to be the king of his castle.

He is a big napper and would love to have a special spot where he can spend his time relaxing and napping.
