My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🌟 Meet Buster — The Happy‑Go‑Lucky Water Dog With a Heart of Gold
Buster is pure joy wrapped in fur. He’s a happy‑go‑lucky, toy‑loving, water‑splasher of a dog who brings sunshine wherever he goes. Whether he’s bouncing around with his dog friends or diving into the pool, Buster lives life with enthusiasm and a big, goofy smile.

He loves all dogs, big or small. He can play with small dogs too — he just needs a little supervision because he sometimes plays a bit rough in the excitement of the moment. He’s social, friendly, and always ready to make a new buddy.
But he’s very clear about two things:
No cats. No chickens. Ever.

Buster is wonderfully easy in the yard — he does not jump fences and does not dig out, which makes outdoor time simple and stress‑free. He’s about 4/10 vocal, so he’ll talk a little but won’t drive the neighbors crazy.

He’s crate/kennel potty trained, loves toys with his whole heart, and is a total water dog — the pool is his happy place. He’s also learning his manners: he gets excited for treats, so he’s practicing sitting politely instead of snatching. With consistency, he’s improving fast.

Buster is very smart… when he chooses to be, which is part of his charm. He’s goofy, clever, and full of personality — the kind of dog who keeps you laughing and makes every day brighter.

✨ Buster Would Love a Home With:
Dog friends of any size

Someone who loves a playful, joyful companion

A yard for zoomies and sun time

A family who enjoys water fun — he’s a pool dog through and through

A person who appreciates a smart, silly dog with a big heart

A home with no cats and no chickens

💛 Why You’ll Love Him
Buster is the definition of a good‑time dog — fun, friendly, loving, and full of life. He’s the dog who makes you laugh, keeps you active, and curls up happily when the day is done. If you’re looking for a joyful companion who brings energy and affection in equal measure, Buster is your boy.

Additional adoption info

We endeavor to find the best home for each pet in our care. We do home visits on every pet, even if it can only be a virtual visit with pictures and videos from the potential adopter. Most of the time we adopt to people who live close enough for a personal home visit.

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not have a facility; so meet and greets with potential adopters, pets and current pets are done on an appointment bases; sometimes at the potential adopter's home, or in a neutral location.
