My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boppy arrived at Horse Creek Wildlife from the animal shelter on November 14, 2023.

Boppy’s life started at a local garbage dump where she lived as a stray. We believe she had several litters of puppies before being rescued. Her story is a true “Rags to Riches” story! She is safe now, and we would love to find her a forever home. She is very apprehensive when meeting new people, and she is bashful until she warms up. She is curious about everything and enjoys spending time in our exercise areas playing with other dogs her size.

Boppy is full-grown and weighs 33 pounds. We believe she may be a Plott Hound/Mountain Cur Mix.

Would you want to make her life complete by being her devoted family? She promises to bring you joy!

All of our dogs are spayed or neutered and current on all vaccinations. They receive monthly heartworm and flea/tick prevention. All of their medical needs are taken care of before they are available for adoption. Our adoption fee is $100.00. Please complete an application, if you have found a dog you are interested in adopting. Kim Austin, our adoption facilitator, will be in contact with you as soon as she has an opportunity to review your application. Understand that she has other duties and she will not ignore any interest shown in adopting one of our dogs. An application will need to be approved before a scheduled time to visit our dogs will be set up. It may take up to 48 hours before she returns your call or responds to your email, due to work schedules, holidays and adoption events. We do the very best we can for the dogs we have rescued and do not take the adoption process lightly. Please be patient and understand that we will place our rescued dogs in the very best homes possible and reserve the right to refuse applications.
