With his silly ears, gentle heart, and that charming smile, Rex is ready to snuggle his way into your home — and your heart! This easygoing boy is all about comfort, connection, and play.
Rex spent 6 loving years in a home, so he’s already got excellent house manners and knows how to be the perfect roommate. He’s:
â Great on leash
â Knows basic commands like 'Sit'
â Ignores other dogs on walks
â Loves forming strong bonds with his people
When he’s not out for a walk or playing a spirited game of tug-o-war (his favorite!), you’ll often find Rex doing what he does best — curled up in a cozy blanket, especially loving when he’s tucked into bed for the ultimate comfy nap. There’s nothing he loves more than that snug, warm feeling before drifting off!
Rex is also super food-motivated, which makes training a breeze — he’ll do just about anything for a tasty treat! He gets along well with dogs his size and would be happy to have a calm canine friend to hang out with.
Rex’s prior family loved him dearly, but due to some health issues, they sadly had to return him to the shelter. Now, he’s looking for a new forever home where he can be cherished and spoiled.
One thing to know — Rex prefers to avoid large crowds. He’s happiest in calm, cozy environments where he can relax and enjoy quality time with his people.
Call the Ranch today to meet Rex — he’s the perfect blend of goofy, gentle, and affectionate, and he's waiting to warm your heart (and your couch)!

Thank you for considering adopting a Rescue Ranch dog. While they are with us, each and every rescue dog receives the best of care in a loving and nurturing environment. Their routines include daily playgroups or partnering with dog buddies, quality time walking or being groomed, and two meals a day with dog biscuits for dessert.
All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.
The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300
(unless a reduced fee applies )
