Meet Abby
She is an approximate 1-1/2 year-old 12 pound female Lhasa Apso.
Abby comes to the rescue from a puppy mill where she spent her life living in a kennel. When the mill decided that she was of no longer of service to them, her life was soon to be cut short. That is when Dogworks stepped in and saved her life.
Abby needs somebody with a lot of patience. She is very timid and is hesitant when approaching people when she meets them.
She loves to play with the other small dogs in her foster home. She studies them and learns from them all of the time. She loves to run in the backyard, chases birds, and the squirrels!
She likes her toys, likes to chew on bones, and of course, loves to play with the other smaller dogs in the home. She loves to be pet!
She will require a fully fenced yard for her safety because if she escapes she will not be able to be caught! She will also require another dog sibling to continue to teach her how to be a normal dog.
Abby lives with cats in her foster home and does fine with them. She does not live with children so we are not sure how she would do with them.
At this time, she does not do well on a leash, but she is crate trained and is still working on her potty training.
Abby is spayed, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped and is on monthly flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Her adoption fee is $350.
