Meet Diesel — a big, happy-hearted guy who’s ready for his forever adventure!

Diesel is:

Incredibly friendly, affectionate, and full of love

A fan of squeaky toys and quiet-time chews

Dog-friendly and LOVING fenced yard zoomies

A pro in the car- he recently took a 2 hour road trip and was an angel

House-trained, crate-trained, and knows multiple commands

Fostered in Rochester, NY

Diesel loves hiking, strolling around the neighborhood, squeaky toys, and anything that involves treats (which is basically his love language).

Diesel has not been cat tested but has been wonderful with dogs from 3lbs-100+. He’s dog-friendly, incredibly social, and although he doesn't live with kids - he's wonderful with his foster’s grandchild when they visit.

He’s experienced life as an only dog, with one canine companion, and as part of a larger pack — making him a flexible, easygoing guy who can adapt to many home environments.

G.R.A.S.P. stands for Greece Residents Assisting Stray Pets. GRASP's goal is to give animals, primarily those picked up by Greece Animal Control, a second chance for a safe, happy, and healthy life. Before G.R.A.S.P., Inc. was formed, animals that were not claimed by their owners were routinely euthanized. We also strive to educate the public on the benefits of spay/neuter and the need to tag their pets at all times.
