Meet MIKAELA SHIFFURIN! One of six kittens named for ailurophilic professional athletes, this cutie is alive today because a Good Samaritan found her and her littermates sick and abandoned underneath a car in Garden Grove, and instead of doing nothing, spent his day crisscrossing the city from shelter to shelter trying to found one that would accept them. When that failed, he took to NextDoor and connected with us.
When they arrived five weeks ago, Mikaela and her siblings were emaciated, flea infested, parasite-ridden, and plagued with URIs. Today, they are fat, happy, healthy, and active, and ready to make loving companions to their lucky adopters.
Mikaela is 10 weeks old and vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, FIV/FeLV negative, and spayed.
