Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi My name is Ruby- I am about 1.5 years old they say I am a type of hound, like Fox hound, Polish hound, Redbone, I think I am an all American rescue dog mix. I was rescued by A Tail of 4 Paws when I was a puppy and thought I had found my forever home twice! Yes, twice- don’t be sad for me as I am in a loving foster home with 2 fur siblings and am enjoying life until I find my perfect family. There are a couple things I found out like the City of Chicago is a scary place and not my cup of tea. My perfect family would include a fur sibling, fenced yard, a could also include these 2 legged people they keep calling kids! They tell me I am such a good girl and now that I know what doesn’t do well for me I can now find that perfect forever family. I have all my vetting completed including spay, I am housebroken, and crate trained-however I do well being left without being put in the crate. My favorite thing to do is play with my fur siblings and play with our dog toys. Sometimes I keep chewing on the toys until they either need to go to the toy hospital for repair or throw them away and get me some new ones. I walk well on a leash and enjoy my walks, when excited I can pull a little but each day I get better and better.
