Introducing Gerry, age nine, professional couch ornament and part-time sprinkler assassin. Gerry once had a loving human who adored him, and it shows — this boy has “pampered prince” written all over him. He believes every couch is his couch, every lap is his lap, and every ball is… well, also his. Respectfully.
Don’t let his calm, easygoing vibe fool you: hand Gerry a tennis ball and he transforms into a “fetch prodigy” who takes his job very seriously. Turn on a lawn sprinkler and suddenly you’re watching a nature documentary titled Elderly Dog vs. Water Monster: The Final Battle.
Gerry currently lives with children as young as two, and he thinks of them as his tiny roommates/pillow providers. He sleeps with one of them every night because, frankly, he knows they won’t dare kick him out of bed. Smart man.
He also lives with multiple cats and has learned an essential life lesson: cats run the house. After an initial “hey, wanna play?” phase, Gerry now respects their boundaries like a polite but slightly intimidated uncle. He also gets along great with the resident low-energy dog, because naps are a team sport.
When meeting new animals, Gerry’s enthusiasm sometimes bursts out like a badly timed confetti cannon, so he does best with slow, thoughtful introductions. But once he settles, he’s all charm, manners, and emotional support potato energy.
If you want a loyal companion who’s equal parts silly, snuggly, and sprinkler-obsessed, Gerry is ready to move into your home, your heart, and probably your bed.

Our adoption process begins with an application! Once we receive your application, we will get started on completing a vet reference (if applicable) & landlord check (if applicable). Once those steps are complete, we will schedule a time to talk to you on the phone about what you are looking for & we will suggest some of the animals in our care that could be a match for your lifestyle! If you’ve applied for a specific animal, we will discuss them & work together to determine if this is the right fit for your lifestyle.
