Meet Gerry (Gerald when he's signing documents, Gerr-Bear when's wiggling his way into your heart)! This spunky senior proves day in and day out that age truly is just a number. Gerry had a family of his very own but his person got sick and could no longer care for him. He knows what it's like to love and be loved and is eager to find his forever home.
As a grown ass man, Gerry comes to you fully housebroken and has perfected everyone's favorite party trick: catching treats! Talented and handsome, he’s the full package! Like most of us that have logged a few miles in life, Gerry's developed some quirks, most notably his preference for sleeping ON crates rather than in them. Thankfully, Gerry is not destructive (dog toys aside) so is able to have free range.
Gerry is currently being fostered with small children, cats, and a dog. He’s proven himself to be the consummate family dog - gentle and affectionate with the kids (he rotates sleeping among them during the night 🥹), a great foster sibling to the resident dog, and though initially excited, has become indifferent to the cat.

Our adoption process begins with an application! Once we receive your application, we will get started on completing a vet reference (if applicable) & landlord check (if applicable). Once those steps are complete, we will schedule a time to talk to you on the phone about what you are looking for & we will suggest some of the animals in our care that could be a match for your lifestyle! If you’ve applied for a specific animal, we will discuss them & work together to determine if this is the right fit for your lifestyle.
