Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Mac & Dee – Acrobat & Observer, Partners in Purr
Looking for the perfect pair of feline companions? Look no further than Mac and Dee — bonded siblings and total opposites who balance each other out like peanut butter and jelly (but with more fur and fewer crumbs).
Mac is a silver-smoke tabby with golden eyes that practically glow when he's mid-air. This boy is a certified athlete—watch him leap, twist, and somersault through the air chasing his beloved butterfly wand. He’s shy at first, but once he trusts you, he’s a total snugglebug who insists on burrowing under blankets like a tiny, purring burrito. If you're a "cozy at bedtime" kind of person, Mac is your guy.
Dee, his equally stunning sister, is the quiet observer of the duo. A brown-grey-black tabby with muted leopard spots and golden accents, she's all about the vibes. You'll find her perched on a windowsill, watching birds like she's narrating a nature documentary in her head. She’s curious, smart, and always in tune with her surroundings—but don’t be surprised when she sneaks up for some gentle affection.
Mac and Dee are just over a year old, spayed/neutered, up to date on their shots, and ready to settle into a calm, loving home together. They’ve blossomed in foster care, and now they’re ready for a forever family who will let them shine—preferably one with patience, understanding, and a healthy supply of squeeze-up treats (they asked us to emphasize that part).
Double the fluff. Double the love. Double the squeeze-ups. What are you waiting for?
Mac & Dee are currently in a foster home If you are interested in meeting them, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.
